This really dawned on me recently, when I realised that for the majority of my life I've been living according to some story, product of my own perverse design and societal expectations. The thing is, I'm really good at telling these stories. I've managed to connect unexpected transitions with some masterful story telling. People believe me and doors open.
Except, why the hell did I want to go through that door in the first place, and where the heck am I now?
